enjoin us to remember

time’s susurrus stream

twists and swings, no steady course

to follow through seas of life

This tanka is for Frank’s Haikai Challenge using the prompt, Cherry Blossoms

And for

Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday using synonyms for dance and command.

And

Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt asks us to consider the future, but I don’t see the future as a straight line. Perhaps there are many futures (and many pasts).
