Hmmm. . .redoing the link. Hope this works.
My flash fiction piece “The Birthing” was selected as one of the responses to
“Women in Black”, by Marianne von Werefkin (Russia) 1910, a writing challenge from Ekphrastic Review. You can read all of the wonderful poems and stories here.
Congrats – lovely addition to the collection, Merril! I realize from the description that I had my students do ekphrastic writing; I just didn’t have a word for it then. They wrote reflections on works of art when we visited the college gallery.
Thanks for trying the corrected link, Marian, and for your comment. I know it’s a dark piece. It sounds like a good exercise for your students.
Congratulations, Merril! I enjoyed your piece. I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day. I can’t wait to see the photos. π
Thanks so much, Jill!
