Franz Marc, Blue Horses
Wonder
as bright stars fill
night sky without design,
arranged by chance, dancing light sings
through time
find peace
in prismed glow
sparking within your soul–
rainbowed worlds where blue ponies graze,

I’m feeling the need for the blue horses today–a Crapsey Cinquain sequence for Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday, using synonyms for plan and spend.
Blue horses cheer up any day. And you had rainbows too.
They do. It was crazy morning–stuff with my mom.
It’s thundering right now, and I see there’s a severe thunderstorm warning–so I may see a rainbow for real. 🙂
Hope she’s okay now.
It was horribly hot again today, only cool place was under the shower, now there’s a high wind blowing, temperature’s quite brisk and it looks like a storm on the way. Nothing like yours, this isn’t even forecast, but it’s weird how it changes so suddenly.
It is. I’m hearing reports of how hot it is there. Thank goodness for showers! 🙂
I never thought the day would come when I’d say it was uncomfortably hot indoors.
We all have our point. 🙂
Well, that’s over. Back to cool again.
That’s good. I think today will be nice here, but back to hot and humid, thunderstorm weather later in the week.
Same here. You’d never think we lived on different continents 🙂
We’re connected by the Oracle. 🙂
The weather goddess 🙂
🙂
I want a blue pony! Nice, Merril!
Thank you, Jill. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? 🙂
fabulous Cinquain’s that transport me to my happy place. Well done. ❤
Thank you very much, Colleen!
You’re welcome. 😍
🙂
If I find any in the forest I will post them
Oh, good idea! 🙂
Favorite phrase, “in prismed glow.” I hope you see a real rainbow soon. Wishing you well with your mom and all that, Merril!
Thank you very much, Marian!
Ahhh, the peace and calm of a star-filled night sky.
Yes. Thank you! 🙂
We need those blue horses coming around every once in awhile. And rainbowed worlds too! (K)
Yes indeed. Thank you!
