Franz Marc, Dreaming Horse
Blue magic perfumes the night
(and ghosts are almost here)
in my heart, embracing
haunting, breathing secrets
of eternity
~and the universe~
throbs and dazzles–
there a star dances,
and voices wake
laughter, joy–
the poetry of if
A collaborative poem with the Oracle. She seems to be fond of the Puente form. I think the blue horses must dream blue magic.
Nice interpretation of the horses!
And I, too, like the Puente.
Thank you very much. I was actually writing first, and then thought of the blue horses.
Purely from a dream. 🙂
Haha. Thanks!
The dreaming horses gave you a more concise version of the same message, and your stars dance!
Thank you. Yes, you, me, and Kerfe–all with the same message. And we both did a puente, too. 🙂
Did you see the painting that Kerfe used? The three witches and their oracles?
Hahaha. Yes. I loved that you called us the three witches. 🙂
I thought about starting a collaborative challenge, but we sort of do that anyway.
We do sort of. 🙂
Nicely done
Thank you, Derrick.
We are definitely in synch today, although you are (as usual) more gentle. The Oracle rides those blue horses well. (K)
We definitely are, and she definitely does. 🙂
Just the poem and photo to complement my mood. The art work looks a little Marc Chagall-ish.
Thank you, Marian. I’m glad this complemented your mood.
I think you may have remarked about that before. I suppose Franz Marc may have known of Chagall’s early work when he was in Paris, but Marc died in WWI. His work was condemned as “degenerate” by the Nazis.
Sigh… that’s how I feel when I read these. A sigh of pleasure.
Awwww! Thank you!
My pleasure. It is quite beautiful
Well done, Merril.
Thank you, Jill!
”the poetry of if..” I will be saying that phrase in my head all day because it says so much. And I think we writers and poets – that is what we deal with in our creativity.
Thank you very much, Pam. Yes, you’re right.
Love the visuals I get after reading this. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much!
