Away the bitterness of aching hearts,
the shadowed mist of fears
that cycle with brown and blossom
with dreams of honey-gold
as you watch the moon glow silver after spring storms
gust with purple fury
and grey clouds sail across the indigo night sea
till the sun rises—
now you can almost smell the scent of peaches
in her rays, hear the tinkling bell-voices of jonquils
sensing if. . .breathing,
beating in the heart of today.
Today’s message from the Oracle. The world is very scary now and filled with hate and ignorance, but at least there are spring flowers that rise predictably from bulbs year after year.
And here’s to the ongoing cycle of life. In spite of humanity’s fears and actions
Thanks so much, Beth. Yes.
Thank you! Happy Saturday to you, too.
Yep, same message, same images, the cloudy ocean, sailing though storm and rain, and the morning bringing flowers and the hope of brightness. She always knows!
She does! 🙂
Something to keep in mind, Merril
Yes–there are always flowers in your garden! 🙂
It’s comforting the world in our own backyard can provide hope. Love those flowers, Merril!
Thank you, Jill. We are not good gardeners, but we have lots of spring bulbs that bloom. 🙂
“now you can almost smell the scent of peaches
in her rays, hear the tinkling bell-voices of jonquils” … thank you for this. Much needed today 🙂 (Working at the call center this afternoon. Just trying catch up between phone calls.)
Thank you for taking the time to catch up between calls! Good luck today. I’m trying to finish writing a test assignment today because life is starting to get crazy again. 😉
The Oracle does spring well. Thank you for listening.
Thank you, Ken. I know you listen, too.
Thank you for this spring beauty and reminder, Merril. Life goes on, maybe in spite of us.
Thank you, Robin. Yes, it does. 🙂
Thank goodness for flowers and nature’s beauty!
Yes, indeed! Thank you, Dale.
