Pink blossoms open,
scent lingers after they fall–
a laugh from the past
I will probably never hear my mother laugh again.

❤ ❤ ❤ I hug so much Merril. She's no better?
She’s dying, Shuku. It’s just a matter of time now, but she’s in a nursing home and we’re not getting information too well. Thank you for the hugs. ❤️
Oh I am so sorry, that is so hard. All the love and hugs and everything and strength and tears and tissue and time ❤ ❤
Thank you!😘
The choir I sing with put this up today. The solo line was incredibly hard for me to sing, the words struck a very personal chord, but over the last three weeks post-recording, it has somehow provided a great deal of comfort to me. Maybe it will for you too. So much love. ❤
It’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing. ❤️ Are you the soloist? You have a lovely voice.
Yes I am Merril – thank you ❤ one of the rare times I do solo lines in a piece.
❤️
This is so hard. Hugs.

Thank you, Derrick. Me, as well. She was dying when I wrote it on Friday. She died early Saturday morning.
My commiserations, yet perhaps it was time. XX
