Odilon Redon, “The Muse on Pegasus”
In the moments between
the dream hours
she joins my father
in the timeless night–
not asking if this universe
is real or true,
~only that it is~
all I can embrace–
the magic of a laugh,
the sun dancing in
the promise of a new morning,
and the rhapsodic songs of the stars,
lingering.
The Oracle gave me nearly all the words for this puente, so–I just went with it.
Beautiful-Iβm a big fan of the in between
Thank you! I am, too.
Oh, beautiful! She sent you a perfect song. This one is meant just for you π
She pandered to my obsession, (WIP drawing to an end)
Thank you! The first part was from the very first words she gave me. It was a definite poem for me. π
I’m off to read yours now.
It’s a personal message of hope π
Yes, it seems to be. π
π
I really love this, Merril. It’s so beautiful. Nicely done! Enjoy your weekend. β€
Thank you very much, Jill! You, too. β€οΈ
Gorgeous! Just all of it. And the painting too.
Some similarities with mine, but of course mine is not as light-filled. You always see the light. (K)
Thank you very much!
Yes, different versions of the message, or coming across different parts of the endless cycle perhaps?
Yes, that does seem right. Different places on the wheel.
Much to embrace here Merril thank you! The Redon painting is beautiful; Pegasus is in on it all on his horse …
Thank you so much, Susan!
Or rather Pegasus the horse is in on it all …
I knew what you meant. π
It is perfect π
Thank you!
I love the in-between… and the Oracle was on the ball today. And you put her words to beautiful use.
Thank you, Dale!
Yes, she just put the words right out there for me today–no digging around. π
Some days she’s more in cahoots with you than you expect!
I know! It’s uncanny. π
One of these days she’s gonna talk to me!
π You just have to be ready to listen. It takes time.
I know you are right.
Ahh. My soul sighed when I read your beautiful and inspirational word artistry. What Oracle are using? I read Oracle cards.
Thank you! I’m pleased to have evoked a sigh from your soul.
Some of us call the Magnetic Poetry site, the Oracle. π https://magneticpoetry.com/pages/play-online
I will check out the Oracle!
Have fun! There are different sets of tiles.
Then you make your own poem out of it?
Sorry–I didn’t mean to leave you hanging. πYes, you can use them however you want. A few of us on Saturdays used to only use words from the tiles without adding any (you can combine tiles though). You can also refresh the tiles. Now, I generally use mainly the tiles, but add some of my own words for my Saturday poems. Or I combine words from various sets. But sometimes I “consult” with the Oracle just as a prompt–or just to get an idea or start for a poem.
This poem made me shiver in delight. The Oracle showed you (and us) the Truth. The Universe – here, there, in between – just IS.
Oooo–shiver in delight. How wonderful! Thank you. It is just IS. π
P.S. Which magnetic poetry kit do you use? I think I may want one! ;-0
This is the online one: https://magneticpoetry.com/pages/play-online
Did you study poetry & all it’s forms?
No, not at all. I have a Ph.D. in American History. I’m catching up now on learning about poetry and poets. π I learned this form from another poet friend.
Very cool!
π
That would be “its”.
