ferocious eternity, a blush away
in a brilliant cloud—
listening for home,
I soar in search of time,
and if
I find, hear
the cosmos
in full-flowered rhapsody,
it is always a world
with dream language
like glass
and ocean, light-filled
ascending
with a thousand laughing wings
(wake, listen)
to heal the tiny tears
of the universe
in the ever
and the after
where magic lingers,
a ghost in the night.
It’s Saturday, and so, I consulted the Oracle. She gave me this poem.
This is exquisite. I was going to say, especially the last section, but it’s all of a piece. It’s a message for me to read after my ownβit’s more uplifting π
Thank you!
I just read yours–and you’re right, they do sort of go together. As usual, sort of companion pieces or slightly different views.π
As a rule, I think yours are more likely to go cosmic and mine apocalyptic π
Hahahaha. I think you’re right. π

Nicely done, Merril. I like the idea of magic lingering. π Happy Saturday!
Thank you, Jill. It’s a comforting thought. π
“like glass and ocean” Nice…
Thank you, Laura!
Positively gorgeous Merril.
Thank you so much, Linda!
You always seem attuned to dream languages…as Jane said, it all works in concert from start to finish. (K)
Thank you very much, Kerfe. I guess the Oracle touches my subconscious.
She does.
Magical and peaceful
Thank you, Jude!
Excellent. So many phrases touched me, I don’t know where to start. Well done.
Thank you so much, Frank! I’m touched that you were so moved by it. Good to hear from you. I hope you and Ms. Angle are well.
All well here. Been busy with life stuff the past month, but hopefully that slows down soon. Hope all is well with you and your family.
I’m glad all is well. We had a rough spring, but we’re fine.
Good all is better.
Lingeringly ethereal
Thank you very much, Derrick.
