Listen to heart-songs–
the breath of eternity,
as ocean-kissed air dances
with brilliant sparkle-light,
and white-cat clouds pounce
with joy
at the blue-blanketed sky, wondering
~if~
ghosts hide in the shadows,
perhaps they linger to tell their secrets–
imprisoned between before and after,
they wind-whisper
in the fever-blush of morning sky,
and silent-laugh in the night—
at your smile from the window.
A late message from the Oracle today. We’ve had blue sky and sparkling water the last couple of days. As I was getting ready to post this, I looked up and saw this painting of my mom’s. It doesn’t have a title or date that I know of, but it seemed to fit.
Reblogged this on The Wombwell Rainbow.
Thank you, Paul.
You bring a smile to my heart. Thank you.
Awww–thank you!
I agree. Your mom’s painting is the perfect pairing for this lovely puente.
Thank you very much! 💙
My pleasure
Aw…yes, your mother’s painting is a perfect fit. Love it, Merril!
Thank you very much, Jill! 💙
The painting is an excellent fit. I feel like your second section fits my crow poem from yesterday. And I love the sparkle-light of the first part. (K)
Thank you very much, Kerfe. I think you’re right.
This is uncannily like the second poem I got from the oracle, different word set to the Brigid poem. And the illustration, so like your mother’s!
Oh–wow–I will have to go check it out. 😀
I got goosebumps reading your words. It’s like you received a message you needed to hear. ❤
Wow–thank you so much, Colleen!
I love when you channel the ancestors!
Thank you! 😀
Isn’t it wonderful to have a piece of art (and with such an attachment) that can inspire words like this. (not to take anything away from The Oracle!)
Thank you, Ken.
It is—but in this case the words came first, and then I noticed the painting and thought it would fit.
🙂
Oh… this is so beautiful. The words and the painting. ♥
Thank you very much, Robin! 💙
An excellent pairing
Thank you very much, Derrick.
I love how your mother’s spirit was able to enter your poem through the medium of her painting.
Thank you so much, Liz! I wrote the poem first, but I suppose she’s always around.
You’re welcome, Merril.
I really love this🌹
Thank you!
