“The world courses on
arhythmic heartbeats, now too fast, now too slow–“
Thank you to the lovely, lively editors at Roi Fainéant for publishing my poem, “The Wobbling Moon,” in this most recent issue. I’m eager to read the entire issue.
I’ve added a recording, and I’m linking this to dVerse Open Link Night Live.
Reblogged this on The Wombwell Rainbow.
Thank you so much, Paul!
Congratulations Merril! I love the sense of conviviality with the moon that you conjure 😊

Thank you, Jill!
Congratulations, Merril! I just love where the poem lands in the second stanza with the moon “silver and serene / with merely a slight tremolo in her hum.”
Thank you so much, Liz. I appreciate that. I’m fond of this little poem.
You’re welcome, Merril. I can see why!
😊
Wonderful Merril. (K)

Thank you very much, Rob!
Beautiful verses, if the moon is wobbly your verses surely calmed her. Congrats on the publication! 💫🌜💫
Thanks so much, Tricia!
Congratulations! I loved listening to the reading.
Thank you very much! I’m so pleased.
Woww this was absolutely wonderful! Loved it 😀
Thank you so much!
I loved hearing you read it… but the link to the poem does not work… as a scientist I found the concept of wobbling interesting, and I think I understood that you now can measure those small imperfections.
Thank you. I thought the wobbling was interesting, too. Thank you for letting me know about the link. Apparently, they archive them when the new issue comes out, but it’s not archived yet, so I’ll have to wait to correct the link.
The link should work now.
A great reading Merril. It is interesting how we humans have given life the the stone cold moon, that has no light of its own!
I think I will do a spin-off of this Merril! :>)
Go for it, Dwight!😀
Thanks Merril… it is up and posted.
I just saw!
