On Saturday, I participated in a poetry event on Zoom. It was put together by Elizabeth (Liz) Gauffreau and Luanne Castle, and Liz served as host and moderator. I enjoyed this event so much–such wonderful poetry and people. Here’s the video recording. (I’m the last poet to read.)
Reblogged this on The Wombwell Rainbow.
Thank you, Paul.
Just listened to it. Your selection was perfect to wrap the whole thing up. Lovely π
Thank you so much for listening and commenting! π
I was looking forward to hearing it. I wanted to see if the cat behaved himself. The Oracle mentioned him.
Ricky was on camera I think before the recording started. I can’t believe he was so good because we went past his usual dinner time when he normally starts going crazy. . .
I was watching for his head to pop up, and the awwwwing to start π
I was afraid he would nudge me or get in my face while I was reading.
It would have been a brilliant excuse for stumbling over the words.
Well, I’m glad I didn’t need the excuse. π
I can understand that π
Thank you so much for bringing your lovely presence and beautiful poems to the event!
Thank you so much for helping to organize it, Luanne!
Jane is right, your words were the perfect ending. (K)
Thank you so much! π
Merrill so glad you posted the video! I was there for the live performance, but will definitely listen again – superb readings of superb poems.
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate your kind words!
It was a pleasure see/hear you read, Merril.
Thank you very much, Ken. And it was a pleasure to see/hear you, too.
Thank you for sharing this, Merril – I will try to find the time to watch later π
Thank you, Ingrid. I know–it’s so hard to keep up. π
