Silver Wings
Above, the cerulean shifts
to violet and indigo,
below, limpid blue
becomes green-black,
and,
in the rippling expanse between
a swimming rainbow
with silver wings
becomes a glimmering—
girl, or thing–
where enigmatic stars
and murky undertow meet
here, this vision,
forgotten dreams.
