The sound of the words is lovely, very ‘Oracle’. I wonder how Europa rated the experience though…
Thank you. It is very Oracle. I wrote it a while ago, and this publication seemed right. I wonder how any of Jupiter’s “conquests” rated the experience? He was pretty awful. But maybe she can keep her eye on him now without him touching her. π
I read some of the other poems. Yours is much more to my taste π
Abduction seduction and rape were synonyms for the Ancient Greeks. They didn’t distinguish. After all, from the man’s point of view they were pretty similar. Who was going to worry about what the woman thought about it?
Thank you, and yes, I agree about the ancient Greeks–still true today for some.
There seems to be a wide range of poems here. The other poem of mine that they published was very different from this one.
I’ll look up the other one.
π
Yep. I like that one too π
Thank you! π

Thank you very much, Kerfe.
Congratulations, Merril. You are on a roll π
Loved this one. It felt different from your others (but that may be because it wasn’t here with your usual spacing! Makes no sense but there you have it.)
Thank you, Dale.
It seemed very me plus the Oracle, but I wrote it awhile ago. I’m glad you liked it.
Oh, it was. Just so used to the format on your blog – it causes me to make longer pauses (If that makes any sense)
It does. You read things a certain way in your head. The spacing here though looks the same to me. π
π
Congratulations ππΎππ!!!
Thank you so much, Frank!
Good news for you then! π
Yes, thank you! π

Thank you very much, Derrick.
Congratulations! Lovely poem. Loved these three little words: “she aches music”
Thank you so much, Marie! I’m pleased you liked the poem.
Indeed, I did π Sorry I haven’t been around much. I went off the grid for vacation and came back to too much work at the day job. Aargh!
