Ask if
the sea still glitters diamond-bright
in the sunshine,
and if
it recalls the whispers of
a thousand stars, the humming of the moon,
the voices of time, a champagne cloud of color
vanishing to form again
never, always
ask why
some don’t know the delicious dazzle
of light’s brilliant kiss,
and can’t feel the universe’s embrace, lingering
in an ocean breeze.
My poem from the Magnetic Poetry Oracle.
This is beautiful!!! 🙂
Thank you so much!
You are so very welcome! 🙂
FAB! Your Oracle is hot, Merril! 🔥🔥🔥
Hahaha. Thank you, Resa!
😀
Wow! I loved this, Merril!
Thank you so much, Jill!
This poem is brilliant and glitters 🙂
It’s easy to ignore nature’s gifts when we’re caught up in the stress of daily life, but then we miss out on so much!
Yes, you’re so right, Ingrid.
You and the Oracle have a wonderful thing going on!
Aww–thank you! 😀
My pleasure.
If and why…the universal questions. I still have to post mine, but She spoke to me of always as well. (K)
The Oracle sees these things. Thank you.
I feel that ambivalence of never asking why some don’t know “the delicious dazzle” because it hurts too much to consider–yet feeling we should always ask why to speak on their behalf.
I suppose so, Liz. Thank you.
You’re welcome.
Funny, but I think we got the same message. The ship links them and dreams and the ifs and whys. I’m glad it came out with optimism 🙂
Thank you! And yes, we do have the same message.
No surprise 🙂
None. 😀
“ask why
some don’t know the delicious dazzle
of light’s brilliant kiss,” Superb. A great choice of painting
Thank you so much, Derrick!
